Boxing Picutres

Here are a couple of pictures we have of dad posing as a boxer, and one with his boxing buddies. The guy in the bottom right hand corner is Larl Shaw. He called mom a few years back asking for George Westfall, and she told him that George had passed away many years ago. They visited on the phone for quite a while, and he apologized for not knowing, and for not keeping in better touch. He told mom what a great guy dad was, and how big of a help he was when this guy wanted to learn to box. How dad had taken him under his wing, and helped him out. He said he really admired dad and the man he was, always being kind to others, and always respectful, watching out for the under dog. He sent mom a CD with this picture on it, and a letter that I made a copy of. What a great example he has set even after his death, to treat others with great respect and kindness.
